Veteran’s Day

I thought today would be an appropriate day to share my quilt named “Orange Rain”.  I made it in honor of those who died from, or continue to suffer from the effects of orange rain in Vietnam.  Thousands of American soldiers died and are dying from it.  And thousands more Vietnamese people are too.

This quilt was a finalist in last year’s International Quilt Festival, Houston.   It is still one of my favorite quilts.

Thanks to the veterans who have served in the armed forces, regardless of which era it was.

Thank you for supporting our troops. I have two sons who retired from the Air Force and a grandson who is scheduled to return to Iraq after the first of the year.
