Finishing

I am multi-tasking this weekend.  Finishing laundry, finishing a quilt on my Gammill, finishing some embroidery, finishing some simple sewing, finishing my email, finishing putting some sewing stuff away in the studio, finishing my cup of coffee.

Lots to do, lots more to finish.

And how appropriate that Katie sent me this in my email today.  Made me giggle, thought I would share:

Inner Peace

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr. Phil proclaimed, ‘The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished.’ So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn’t finished, and before the morning was over I finished off a bottle of Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey’s Irish Cream, a package of Oreo’s, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now.

I think I need to go finish the last few maple cookies….. just enough to go with my coffee.

I’m laughing right out loud that you finished so much. My problem isn’t finishing, it’s starting!
