Steve has knocked those icicles off everyday… and they keep coming back.

Yesterday he fixed the heater.  Good thing….

Our patio chairs are buried.  About 30″ on the ground.

Some melted today from underneath, in places.  We may be down to 28″.   We are supposed to get 10″ in the next 36 hours.  Oh joy.

At least we got out today to get groceries, go to the bank and the PO.  And buy bird food.

I bet the birds are starving! How are the cows doing?

Birds still have lots to feed on out in the woods and underbrush (I like to call it the thicket, cuz I like that word) But it has been very cold and they can use the energy boost. Besides, it is so fun to see them.
Cows are fine, thanks. They have shelter if they want it. Some sleep outside in the blowing snow regardless. Steve feeds them extra when it is like this. And gives them the best hay, too.

It is beautiful Gayle, but I’m sure you’re tiring of it by now. Bless you for feeding the birds.

If I had beautiful birds like that outside my window, I would sit and watch them all day long. All I ever see outside are Robins (that forgot to fly south for the winter) and sparrows.
